Private Dining
The Clarke Cooke House loves a party! We have unique areas available for your event, which, both Winter and Summer, enjoy extraordinary views of Newport Harbor. Jean Sullivan heads the Corporate and Special Events staff and will assist you with every detail of your event. Clarke Cooke boasts five bars and six dining rooms, all of which are available for private parties.
The Porch
| The Porch is perhaps the most elegant dining room in the house. The "tented" ceiling, combined with the banquette cushions and pillows which ring the room, creates an atmosphere of quiet sophistication. After dinner, The SkyBar and The Porch may be transformed for cocktails and dancing. The state of the art sound system and our on-staff DJ create an energetic and elegant environment. |
The Club Room
| The Club Room, Newport's station for the 12 Metre Yacht Club, is an intimate dining room in the original section of the 18th century house. |
The SkyBar
| The SkyBar adjoins The Club room, and is the perfect setting for a cocktail reception, pre-dinner. |
The Midway
| The Midway Bar just below The Porch is open to the harbor and to Bannister's Wharf. It is a great spot for a cocktail reception, or a place to gather before dining or dancing. |
